601 - Silent-travel door lock - MG etc.

'Silent-travel' lock, as used on MG and other pre-war cars, chrome finish 63mm wide 75mm tall body, chrome cover. Facility for shaft of exterior handle to fit into back. Use striker plate part numbers 602N, 602W, 602F or wedge 602D. Square hole for handle shaft approx 20mm from face edge.

Ford reference 7W-984056 and 7W-984057 used on 10hp tourer 1937-1940
